Pregnancy Calendars
February 5th, 2007    Subscribe To Our FeedWomen use pregnancy calendars to have a day-to-day guide to the changes their bodies are going through. It is a way of recording to save it as a memory from the moment of conception to the actual birth. There are special sites online where you can create our own pregnancy calendar. It is a useful way to get informed on what you should do to have a healthy pregnancy.
Pregnancy calendars designed online help you better adapt to your new situation and learn as your baby grows inside you how to become a good mother. Though motherhood is very much an issue of instinct, there are things you have to just learn form the more experienced, knowledge about the baby’s transformation and its coming to the world.
Furthermore the pregnancy calendars used to record the growing of your baby is going to be an invaluable memory over the time. The option the Internet offers is to build not just a simple pregnancy calendar but a week by week calendar, with all the transformations you are going through. There are would-be mothers who make photo albums with their ultrasound babies’ pictures.
There are other pregnancy calendars that are said to predict the baby’s gender such as the Chinese pregnancy calendar. It is a funny way to make assumptions on whether you’ll have a boy or a girl. The method is said to have worked for quite a number of people, however, upon serious analysis, such prediction is not more than fifty percent sure.
Lunar pregnancy calendars are also very popular. They calculate the possible child gender based on the month of conception and the age of the mother. If you use this pregnancy calendar you should consider recalculating your age based on the lunar calendar as well. The five element based pregnancy calendar is another way of trying to find out the baby’s gender.
All in all such pregnancy calendars are more of a pass time than serious stuff. With the second trimester of pregnancy you will be able to learn whether it’s a boy or a girl, by going to the doctor and have it checked with the ultrasound machine. Scientifically that is the more precise method to discover baby gender.
There are before pregnancy calendars available online as well. They also enjoy immense popularity, as there are many women who are trying to find the best time of the month when they can conceive. A before pregnancy calendar helps you determine your monthly ovulation. Such a calendar uses the method of the basal temperature recorded over several months to calculate your most fertile period.

Stage of Pregnancy
February 1st, 2007    Subscribe To Our FeedThe way to child birth may be a wonderful journey full of changes and pleasant surprises for a woman. Besides the miracle of a new life growing inside the womb, the woman also learns new things about herself with every stage of pregnancy. The first weeks of child bearing usually pass without being noticed, only when more severe pregnancy symptoms appear, the woman actually makes a difference.
Pregnancy is usually divided into three stages or three trimesters. Every stage of pregnancy is approximately ninety days long. Each passing month will bring new changes for your baby that grows day by day. Specific to the first stage of pregnancy is the adjusting to the new condition. This is when both fears and hopes about the future arise. Many couples experience lack of sexual activity during this first trimester.
The first stage of pregnancy brings about greater focus on yourself and on the changes that occur within your body, to such an extent that the ones around you may feel neglected to some extent. Your partner should understand the emotional change you’re going through and should support you likewise. Throughout the first stage of pregnancy that extends from week 1 to week 12, your baby’s little heart will start to beat for the first time.
It is in the first stage of pregnancy that the leg and arm buds appear, the primitive digestive system develops and then the face and the spine begin to form. It is at the middle of the first stage that the brain, the liver, the kidneys and the bloodstream are in formation. The beauty of the first three months of life is that at their end your little baby is a fetus that starts moving and turning. It even swallows and has small nail beds.
During the second stage of pregnancy your baby’s heart will start beating a lot more strongly and it will develop fine hair all over the body called lanugo. By now it has finger and toe nails and it reacts to noise, it sucks thumb and its movements are a lot stronger. At the end of the second stage of pregnancy, the sixth month, it is 11-14 inches long and it weighs half a pound.
The last stage of pregnancy, the third trimester, prepares the baby for the arrival to this world. By now eyes open and close as the baby responds to light. It is the period when it accumulates calcium and iron to strengthen the bone system. The fine hair lanugo disappears and the baby is closer than ever to come to this world.
